NE-YO will take the stage at the MJCI Celebration, an annual gala for the tournament's celebrities and VIP invited guests.

Returning to Shadow Creek, MJCI marks only the second time the exclusive golf course will open its doors to the public. Proceeds from the charitable tournament will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, UC San Diego Nevada Cancer Institute, James R. Jordan Foundation, Opportunity Village and Cats Care, the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats' charity arm. Since its inception in 2001, MJCI has raised more than $6 million for charity.

LAS VEGAS - April 4, 2011 - This weekend, Michael Jordan and Toni Kukoc relived the glory days as victorious teammates, but this time it was on the course - not the court. Jordan and Kukoc walked away as champs of the 10th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational (MJCI) held at the exclusive Shadow Creek and hosted by ARIA Resort & Casino . This marked the Las Vegas debut for the celebrated golf event. 

Jordan and Kukoc finished nine under par over the course of the two-day tournament and each took home $20,000 for the charity of their choice. Jordan chose to donate his winnings to Cats Care , the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats' charity arm; while Kukoc chose the James R. Jordan Foundation . The dynamic duo of Drew Brees and Wayne Gretzky finished second at four under par, winning $15,000 each for the Brees Dream Foundation and the Wayne Gretzky Foundation , respectively. Third place in the tournament went to Mario Lemieux and Mike Piazza who finished three under. Lemieux is donating his $12,500 in winnings to the Mario Lemieux Foundation , Piazza to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Miami. IN LAS VEGAS CONTINUES TO GROW

Charity Tournament Hosted by ARIA Resort & Casino at Exclusive Shadow Creek, March 31 - April 3

LAS VEGAS (March 15, 2011) - Entertainment and sports stars Larry David, Gabriel Aubry, Jerome Bettis, Sam Bradford, Stuart Scott, Brandi Chastain, Richard Dent, Paul O'Neill, Mike Piazza, Anthony Anderson, Maury Povich, Dennis Haysbert, Alan Thicke, Adrian Young, Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, Grant Show and Boris Kodjoe join the growing list of celebrities scheduled to attend the 10th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational (MJCI), hosted by Las Vegas' ARIA Resort & Casino, March 31-April 3.

Previously announced celebrities include Drew Brees, Wayne Gretzky, Ken Griffey, Jr., Marcus Allen, Mario Lemieux, Boris Becker, John Smoltz, Spike Lee, Don Cheadle, Brian Baumgartner and Shannon Elizabeth.

Marking its Las Vegas debut, the tournament will be held at Shadow Creek, one of the country's most exclusive golf courses, which will open its doors to the public for the first time. Proceeds from the charitable tournament will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Nevada Cancer Institute, James R. Jordan Foundation and Cats Care, the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats' charity arm. Since its inception in 2001, MJCI has raised more than $5 million for charity.

The Celebrity-Amateur tournament, which pairs one celebrity with four amateur participants, will take place Thursday, March 31 and Friday, April 1. The MJCI two-person, 36-hole scramble format tournament, including only competing celebrities, will take place Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3.

VIP spectators will enjoy an unparalleled view of the course from the M life VIP Hospitality complex, an open-air venue featuring a "VIP Party Deck" overlooking the par-5, 18th hole. 

Discounted tickets are available for military service members with valid identification, and Senior Citizens 65 years of age or older with valid ID; both groups will receive 25 percent off a daily or weekly general admission ticket.  Additionally, the tournament has created a special "Bring the Kids for Free" general admission ticket offer, which provides access to Shadow Creek for youth 16 years of age and younger when accompanied by a general admission ticketed adult (up to two children per paid adult).
